Tiffin-Seneca Public Library is excited to announce At the Edge of the Orchard by Tracy Chevalier as the 2022 Community Read title.
The Community Read encourages Seneca County residents to read a book, then come together to think, share, and engage with special events and discussions. This historical novel is a riveting drama of a pioneer family in Northwest Ohio in the early 1800s. The 2022 Community Read is a Tiffin Bicentennial partner event.
The Tiffin-Seneca Public Library will host several special events to go along with the 2022 Community Read. On Tuesday, April 12 at 6:30 p.m. in the Frost Kalnow Room, Angie Ford from the Seneca County Parks District will discuss the natural resources that made the area an attractive place to settle and some of the prominent early settlers. On Monday, April 25 at 10:30 a.m. in the Junior Home Room, the monthly book discussion group “Let’s Talk About It” will discuss At the Edge of the Orchard. Lastly, on Tuesday, April 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the Junior Home Room, book lovers are invited to bring their favorite apple dish to share with the group and talk about the book. Registration is required for this free event.
Copies of At the Edge of the Orchard are available for checkout at the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library, the Ohio Digital Library, and hoopla.
