Leaf collection will be from October 30th, depending on the weather, and will continue until Friday, December 17th. Leaves should be placed in leaf bags at the curb by 7 a.m. for pick up. The city leaf bags are available at most area grocery and convenience stores. Monday pickup is for the area east of Washington Street and north of Market Street; the northeast quadrant of the city (1st ward). Tuesday pickup is for the area west of Washington Street and north of Market Street; the northwest quadrant (2nd ward). Wednesday pickup is for the area west of Washington Street and south of Market Street; the southwest quadrant (3rd ward). Thursday pickup is for the area east of Washington Street and south of Market Street; the southeast quadrant (4th ward). Fridays will be used to pick up neighborhoods missed earlier in the week. There is no guarantee that this list will be followed exactly; the weather may change things. Residents may take their bags to the Water Pollution Control Center at 961 N.
