Tiffin-Seneca Public Library’s Toddler Tales @ Tiffin-Seneca Public Library - Frost Kalnow Room

The Tiffin-Seneca Public Library is to host Toddler Tales on Tuesdays, January 16th, 23rd, and 30th at 6:30 p.m. and Wednesdays, January 17th and 24th, and 31st at 10 a.m.in the Frost Kalnow Room. For children 1 1/2 to 3 years old, the program will feature stories, songs, and finger plays. The thirty minute session is especially beneficial for language enrichment. Every month, adults are invited to discuss successful and unsuccessful recipes, kitchen trends and gadgets, tips, and suggestions that help in the kitchen. The Tiffin-Seneca Public Library and the Seneca County Park District will be presenting “Tracks and Scat of Animals in Seneca County” on Wednesday, January 17th at 6:30 p.m. in the Frost Kalnow Room. Linda Rose, from the Seneca County Park District, will spend an hour talking about the furs, habitats, tracks, and scat of local animals. Participants can test their knowledge through hands-on activities and finish the evening with a special scat snack. This program is open to all ages. No registration is required. Seneca County Parks’ Preschool Pals-Bear Hunt @ Mercy Community Nature Preserve

Seneca County Parks is to host Preschools Pals-Bear Hunt on Thursday, January, 18th at 4:30 p.m. at Mercy Community Nature Preserve, Tiffin. This event is for ages 3 to 5 years old with adult companion. Come learn all about black bears, and then go on a bear hunt. Bring your favorite bear with you. Please dress for the outdoors. Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest @ Attica School Auxiliary Gym

All boys and girls, ages 9-14, are invited to participate in this year’s Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest. This event will take place on January 20st at the Attica School Auxiliary Gym. Doors open at 10 a.m. for registration and practice, with the contest starting at 10:30 a.m. Local winners from this event will receive a trophy and move on to the district event for a chance to continue on to the regional and state contests.
