Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarship

The Elks National Foundation is proud to announce the 2019 Most Valuable Student Scholarship contest, which is open to any high school senior who is a US Citizen. Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need.
Eligibility includes: current high school seniors, or the equivalent, who are citizens of the United States are eligible to apply; applicants need not be related to a member of the Elks; high school graduates are not eligible to apply. The application is completed online and must be submitted by the November 15m 2018 deadline. For more information or to apply, visit elks.org/scholars.

Hurricane Florence Relief Bucket Brigade @ SCAT or Tiffin-Seneca United Way

The Tiffin-Seneca United Way and Impact Hope are to host Hurricane Florence Relief Bucket Brigade from October 8-18th. Donations can be dropped off at the Tiffin-Seneca United Way or SCAT. Seneca County Parks’ Preschool Pals – Pumpkins @ Zimmerman Nature Preserve

Seneca County Parks is to host Preschool Pals-Pumpkins on Monday, October 15th at 5 p.m. at Zimmerman Nature Preserve. This event is for ages 3 to 5 years with adult companion. Come and learn all about pumpkins as you explore the pathway and, then be prepared to decorate your own little pumpkin. Please dress for the outdoors. This program is free and open to the public. St. Francis Spirituality Center’s “Learning to Meditate” @ St. Francis Spirituality Center

The St. Francis Spirituality Center will be hosting “Learning to Meditate: A Five Week Course for Beginners” on Mondays, beginning on Oct. 1st at 200 St. Francis Ave., Tiffin. Sr. Edna Michel, OSF, will be the meditation guide to finding the path to physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being. All faith traditions are welcome. St. Francis Spirituality Center’s “Christmas 365” Raffle 2019 Fundraiser

St. Francis Spirituality is host a “Christmas 365” Raffle 2019 Year Long Fundraiser. There are several opportunities to win cash. The prizes are valued between $100 -$500. Each raffle entry is eligible to win multiple times. Winner need not be present to win. A winner’s name will be drawn on the 25th day of each month during 2019. Winners will be posted on the St. Francis Spirituality Center website and Facebook page. You may enter as many times as you wish. The cost of each ticket is $10.00 or 6 entries for $50.00.
