St. Francis Spirituality Center’s “Christmas 365” Raffle 2019 Fundraiser

St. Francis Spirituality is host a “Christmas 365” Raffle 2019 Year Long Fundraiser. There are several opportunities to win cash. The prizes are valued between $100 -$500. Each raffle entry is eligible to win multiple times. Winner need not be present to win. A winner’s name will be drawn on the 25th day of each month during 2019. Winners will be posted on the St. Francis Spirituality Center website and Facebook page. You may enter as many times as you wish. The cost of each ticket is $10.00 or 6 entries for $50.00. Tickets will be sold through our website, www.franciscanretreats.org. The proceeds will be used for programming at St. Francis Spirituality Center. For more information, call 419-443-1485.
St. Francis Spirituality Center’s Yoga Classes @ St. Francis Spirituality Center - Greccio Room

There will be yoga classes on Wednesdays, from 5:15-6:15 p.m. and Beginners’ Yoga on Thursdays, from 6:30-7 p.m. at St. Francis Spirituality Center – Greccio Room, 200 St. Francis Ave., Tiffin. A $7 donation is requested. Extra mats and belts will be provided, if need be. All are welcome with any level of Yoga experience. No registration or experience required. Seneca County Parks’ Young Adventurers – Nutty Necklaces @ Mercy Community Nature Preserve

Seneca County Parks is to host Young Adventurers – Nutty Necklaces on Thursday, October 18 at 5 p.m. at Mercy Community Nature Preserve. This event is for ages 6 to 12 years old. Come learn the different types of nuts grown in our woods and then create your own necklace. This program is free and open to the public. No registration is needed. Franciscan Earth Literacy Center’s Adult Education Program: Genetically Modified Organisms

Join the Franciscan Earth Literacy Center to view a 42-minute video on The Documented Health Risks of Genetically Modified Foods on Thursday, October 18th from 6:30-8 p.m. The video is a presentation by Jeffrey M. Smith, consumer advocate and best selling author of Seeds of Deception and Genetic Roulette. Afterward, there will be time for questions and discussion which Dan Doepker will moderate. There will also be brochures available from the Institute for Responsible Technology including a “Non-GMO Shopping Tips” guide.

Tiffin Zombie 5k Run/Walk @ Rock Creek Trail

The Tiffin Zombie Run is a fun 5K run or run/walk open to all ages on October 20th at the Rock Creek Trail, Tiffin. Registration will begin at 9:00am, race will begin at 10:00am. Try to avoid having hidden zombies steal your sashes! Awards will be given for the best dressed zombie and placement in race according to age. After the ceremony, head over to the Zombie Bash at Berg Bistro from 11:30am-2:30pm for zombie themed food and drinks! All proceeds will go to CASA of Seneca, Sandusky, and Wyandot Counties.
